Here’s a little trick and tool to bring back Internet Explorer to your Windows 11 desktop. All you need to do is create a VBS script using the following code:
CreateObject(“InternetExplorer.Application”).Visible=true
Then, save the script in the Program Files\Internet Explorer folder as “IE.VBS”. After that, create a desktop shortcut using the IE CLSID and call the VBS script. This will install an IE icon on your desktop.
Remark: Update the fix in the installer.
